Soup Kitchen
One of Adelaide's most beloved winter traditions is back. Every Thursday, East End Cellars brings in a different local chef to serve up a $20 bowl of warm soup with crusty bread. Dine in or takeaway, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Hutt St Centre and Catherine House. It's a simple, feel-good way to spend a winter lunch in the East End, and a different chef each week means no two Thursdays are the same.
Cellar Door Fest
South Australia's premier cellar door event comes to the city for its Winter Edit. Taste your way through some of the state's finest regional wines, meet the makers behind the labels, and discover new favourites from SA's world-class wine regions, all without leaving Adelaide.
Illuminate
Adelaide's biggest winter festival returns for 2026. Illuminate transforms the city after dark with large-scale light installations, immersive digital art, live music and cutting-edge projections across the CBD, laneways and Adelaide Botanic Garden. From the free City Lights exhibition trail across the CBD, to the after-dark Night Visions experience at the Botanic Garden, there's something new to discover every night of the festival.
